Sarah Zhou is the founder and lead of SynthEquity, CareTranslate and CareBridge, three projects to help bridge the global healthcare accessibility gaps. Her commitment to tackle global challenges extends to her role as a youth delegate for the 2025 UN STI Forum and a youth fellow for the Learning Planet Institute (associated with UNESCO).

As a student at the Castilleja School (Palo Alto, CA), she actively pursues her interests in engineering and coding through multiple STEM clubs and competes on the varsity volleyball team. She is the founder and president of the "AI for Good Causes" club, as she believes in AI's power to drive global changes and create a more equitable future. Outside of school, she plays for Panda Volleyball Club and has been a classical pianist since the age of seven.
